Estates Manager

Lancashire County Council is looking for an experienced Estates Manager to work with the Head of Service and Senior Management to deliver a high quality service.

The successful candidate will be a Chartered Surveyor MRICS/FRICS with substantial post qualification experience in managing a team of surveyors and providing senior technical advice to colleagues and clients.

We can offer you an exceptionally interesting and varied workload through which you will have opportunity to influence service delivery and work collaboratively across the fourth largest county council in the country.

The successful candidate should be adaptable, have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and motivate at senior levels.

The Estates Service is separated into three teams :

• Undertaking estates management for the County Councils large service portfolio (including business parks in Leyland and Lancaster),
• Disposals of land and property interests,
• Work on transport schemes including those with the City Deal involving the acquisition/compulsory purchase of interests for major highway schemes.
