Lancashire County Council is looking for an experienced Estates Surveyor to lead a team of Surveyors to deliver a high quality service.

The successful candidate will be a Chartered Surveyor MRICS/FRICS with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in providing senior technical advice to colleagues and clients. Experience in matters concerned with acquisition, disposal, management and development of land and property is required.

We can offer you an interesting and varied workload through which you will have opportunity to influence service delivery and work collaboratively across the fourth largest county council in the country.

The successful candidate should be adaptable, have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and motivate at senior levels.

The Estates Service is responsible for:


• Property management of the County Councils large service portfolio (including business parks in Leyland and Lancaster).
• Disposals of surplus land and property interests,
• Land acquisition and compensation settlements for transport schemes.
