We are looking to recruit a Business Support Officer who has excellent organisation and communication skills.  You will be working in a building that provides supported short breaks for Adults with learning disabilities.

You will be supporting a team of managers and support staff with all day to day administration tasks.

A good Knowledge and experience of IT systems which includes word processing, spreadsheets and use of a database, although training opportunities will be available to support any new systems.

Accurate financial records will need to be maintained daily and monthly therefore excellent working knowledge of financial matters is essential.

This role involves first contact with people who use the service, their family members and other professionals.  Excellent communication skills are required, being both sympathetic and professional at all times.

To work within the ethos and values of the adult disability service which provides high quality supports that afford people dignity and respect at all times.

This role would suit someone who has all the necessary administrative skills, but also enjoys face to face contact with people and would like to work in a lively and caring environment which offers support to Adults with a Learning/Physical Disability.

This position is part time, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent, the salary received will be paid on a pro-rata basis.
