We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work within Support Services. We provide effective and efficient administrative support to the Adult Social Care teams across the county of Lancashire.

You will need to be highly organised and have the ability to plan and prioritise workloads in order to meet deadlines. You may be asked to work across other teams within the Support Services and therefore you will need to be flexible and adaptable. We have established IT systems and processes in place, and you will need to have strong IT skills in order to maintain and develop these processes. As a Business Support Officer, you will need to communicate with customers both internally and externally therefore you will need to have experience of using a variety of communication methods. Support Services has a strong team ethic, and you will need to be able to work well in a team as well as use your own initiative. The role will require you to be proactive and there will be occasions where you will be expected to work with limited supervision.

We will provide you with excellent team support, regular supervision, training and opportunities to build on existing skills and knowledge within an established team.
