Salary £28785-£32878 | Permanent Full time, 37 hours per week I

We are expanding! Exciting opportunities are now available to join our newly developed Grade 8 Occupational Therapy rotation within Adult Community Services including Reablement and Community Equipment and Adaptations teams across Lancashire.

Occupational Therapists are at the forefront of a range of specialist services being developed across Lancashire to support health and well-being by using their expertise around promoting recovery, Reablement, and positive risk taking, to add life to years, prevent relapse, and reduce risks.

Focusing on the individual and working with a strengths based approach our services aim to re-establish purposeful and meaningful lives and reduce a reliance on home care through the provision of a therapy led Reablement service and a dedicated Equipment and Adaptations Team.

The post will allow you to develop and utilise your specialist clinical skills in the assessment and provision of Occupational Therapy for people with complex health and social care needs whilst providing you with an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a supportive environment and participate in wider service development. Experience of Social Care would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided.

You will also need to demonstrate a high level of communication working in partnership with care agencies, other professionals and partner agencies.

In return, we offer regular supervision, opportunities for CPD and a generous annual leave and sickness absence package to support your career development, health and well-being.

From the bustling cities of Preston and Lancaster to the picturesque villages of the Ribble Valley, Lancashire has something for everyone. Come and join us. We would love you to be part of our team.

For more information or to arrange an informal visit, please contact Toni Fairclough or Val Knight on O300 123 6720 or email: Toni.fairclough@lancashire.gov.uk  Val.knight@lancashire.gov.uk
