Pendle Hill Landscape Partnership Graduate Trainee

Based in Clitheroe

Are you a recent graduate looking for good, paid work experience?

Keen to work outdoors and interested in supporting volunteers and communities through practical environmental activity?

Are you interested in interpreting heritage and landscape for visitors, both on-site and using digital tools?

If you can say 'yes' to all of the above, then we'd like to hear from you.

The Pendle Hill Landscape Partnership is an exciting and ambitious Heritage Lottery Funded scheme which is approaching the final year of its £2.5m programme of activity to restore and celebrate the landscape and heritage of this iconic Lancashire landmark.

We recruit a Graduate Trainee each year to deliver activity, to gain experience, and to learn from our team and partners.

This year the focus for the Trainee is volunteering and interpretation. You will be assisting our Countryside Access Officer and supporting the scheme volunteer group engaged in a variety of practical conservation tasks. You will also be expected to support our Community Engagement Officer and assist with delivering interpretation schemes for visitors.

Training will mostly be on-the-job with some formal courses and technical support available. You will need a recent degree or level 5 qualification in a relevant subject, plus be able to drive.

Applications will only be accepted via the application form available on
