An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at Alexandra (Alex) House.

We are a Residential Overnight Breaks unit providing meaningful short breaks care to young people with additional needs. Young people's needs could be severe disabilities and additional complex health needs, autism and behaviours that challenge

Experience in supporting young people with disabilities and a passion to provide the highest quality care is essential for this challenging, ever changing and fun role as part of a service graded Outstanding by Ofsted for many years.

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic and vulnerability of our young people, surgical masks must be worn in the workplace. Additional PPE must also be worn when supporting the children and young People with personal care.

This is a night post working 2 nights per week of 10 hours and the other 4 hours will be for supervision or training.

The vacancy is

  • 1 permanent 24hr Residential Support Worker (NIGHTS) (Grade 5)
  • All posts are working on a rota basis including weekends.
