We're looking for people who are able to display the following skills and experience:

  • Someone willing and able to contribute to the provision of high quality assessments, reviews and support plans for individual's understanding the legal framework they fall within.

  • Someone who can build and sustain relationships to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners involved in service provision, e.g. Health, Police, Housing and Court as required; whilst having the confidence to challenge what is not working and who can work creatively to suggest alternative proposals .

  • Someone who can work under pressure and manage their time flexibly and intelligently under multiple demands.


We have a lot to offer people who join our Adult Social Care Teams including a comprehensive two-week induction, the Adult Social Care Academy. We follow this up with a supportive framework, regular supervision with managers, and opportunities to build on existing skills and knowledge.

The post you are applying for is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013). You must be registered (HCPC) to be appointed as a Social Worker or have applied to register with the Social Care Council. For Social Worker/Care Manager positions where non social worker qualifications are accepted, registration is not required and you will be appointed as a Care Manager.


You will be required to provide a car for use in connection with the duties of this post and must be insured for business use. However, we may consider you if you cannot drive because of a disability.


This position is part time, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent, the salary received will be paid on a pro–rata basis.
